Family and Friends is a DBT class held quarterly. The class is an effort to provide an overview
of the DBT skills that are taught as part of standard DBT. Skills reviewed will include mindfulness skills, emotion
regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness skills. The upcoming group will take place on Saturday,
November 12th, 2016 from 9:00am-1230PM.
Coffee and light food will be provided
to help with overall happiness and energy levels. The facilitator for Family & Friends class is Kneelynn
Gray, LCSW. There is an attached flyer that provides additional information and how to RSVP and cost of the class. This
group is open to family or friend to someone participating in the ACT DBT program. Room size limits the number of participants
so early registration is important.
